The Villa opens to privats and groups for guided tours to the Halls of the main floor, to the Hall and the Porch of the Barns, to the Halls of the Cellars and to the Park: the explanation is available in Italian, French and English Language.

1883-2013: 130 years of history

On the occasion of the 130 years since the re-founding of the Villa Manin Cantarella by Antonio Caregaro Negrin, we did make greeting cards with motifs of the frescoes of the Halls: they will be soon available in bookstores of the area and at the Villa.

They can also be customized and used as invitation card or placeholder for Your event at Villa Manin Cantarella, they can be viewed at the en of this page.

Christmas in Piazza delle Erbe

From November 30 to December 02, 07-9, 14-16, and December 21 to 23, Piazza delle Erbe will host an exhibition market of handicrafts, food, wine and organic specialties, and an exposition of old varieties apples: the exhibition is organized by Bio Naturae with the support of Vicenza’s Municipality and the shops’s association of Piazza delle Erbe.
The highlight of the event will be the interprovincial exhibition of about 200 ancient varieties of apples  and forgotten berries coming from the plateau of Asiago and from the hills of Montello and Mel (Belluno), and the exposure of some precious apples of the Pordenone valleys: the whole has been selected, collected and  managed by the Herbalist Anthony Cantele, Asiago and the Farm of George Martinazzo “Antique Apples”, Giavera del Montello. The gazebo and the shop windows of Piazza delle Erbe will be enhanced by a hundred of blue flakes and yellow stars.

Raffaello verso Picasso

We remind you the exposition “Raffaello verso Picasso”, from 6 October 2012 to 20 January 2013 in the Palladian Basilica, Piazza dei Signori, Vicenza: the restored Basilica re-opens with an exhibition curated by Marco Goldin about the portrait and the figure.

The exhibition brings together about ninety original paintings from museums of various continents and some private collections from Europe and America, original works of famous artists, including:

Fra ‘Angelico, Botticelli, Mantegna, Bellini, Giorgione, Raphael, Titian, Veronese, Dürer, Cranach, Pontormo and again Rubens, Caravaggio, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Velázquez, El Greek, Goya, Tiepolo, Manet, Van Gogh, Renoir , Gauguin, Cézanne, Monet and the great painters of the twentieth century with works from Munch, Picasso, Matisse, Modigliani and Bonnard and then Giacometti, Balthus, Bacon and Freud.
